Pay rates for classified employees will increase in January according to the state compensation plan. 

  • On Jan. 1, all classified employees will receive a 2% increase to their base pay. 
  • On Jan. 2, the minimum pay for classified positions will increase from 3-35%. Any employee earning below the minimum will receive an increase to their base pay. 
  • Beginning July 1, classified employees will no longer receive performance or merit pay adjustments. Instead, market adjustments ranging from 2-4% will be paid annually on July 15.
