Return-to-Workplace Guide

The University’s policies and protocols for responding to the COVID-19 pandemic are rooted in safety for our student’s faculty and staff.

Our primary goal is to provide students, faculty, staff, families, and alumni with a clear multi-phased plan that is science-based, mission-aligned, values-driven, and compliant with federal, state, and local guidelines.

The University aligns its plans with local orders and ordinances of the City of Lafayette, as well as the State of Louisiana’s Phased Reopening Model. The University follows recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Louisiana Department of Public Health.

The University’s policies and plans will be updated as new information becomes available.

Expectations

The University expects and requires all employees to fully comply with the protocols and guidelines outlined herein. Failure to do so may result in immediate removal from University facilities and disciplinary action. Employees must complete the Preventing COVID-19 training in Cornerstone before returning to work on campus.
